Ishiah White

Ishiah White is a graduate from the Rhode Island School of Design. She has a BFA in Sculpture, with a concentration in History, Philosophy, and the Social Sciences. Being the oldest of seven children, her work is heavily influenced by her home life.

Currently she is a part owner and the Head Baker at Prosperity Kitchen & Pantry, a bakery and wholesale kitchen with artisan breads, pastries, cakes and pizza al taglio in Virginia. Her sculpture background has influenced the mini sculptures she makes daily. From rolling sourdough croissants to constructing wedding cakes, she views food as impermanent sculpture.
